About Us

Ovenbird is a family-owned, home-style SG-Japanese fusion restaurant run by self-taught chef Jeffrey Yeo. We started in 2019 as a small supper club in our Yishun flat serving Singaporean interpretations of Japanese cuisine before we opened our current restaurant in the middle of the COVID Pandemic on 10 March 2021. It is run as a one-man restaurant – hawker style, in a mall.

We serve a dinner menu that changes daily, and with the seasons, in a casual space, which means all our guests will have the same course at the same time.

Our next booking window for Spring 2024 (February to end-April) will be released on 30 November Thursday, at 10am; Summer (May to end-July) will be released on the same day at 11am. If you are not able to secure slots, you can check the site periodically for cancelled bookings.

Our Spring and Summer dinners are priced ant $175 NETT per person.

Our dinners are seasonal seafood and vegetable focused. We regret that we are unable to cater to dietary preferences and restrictions.

We will accept your cancellation at no charge; if you can provide us with advanced notice (i.e., more than 12 hours before your dinner).
